Where are you based?
We are based in Oxford, UK.
Is my logo an original design?
Yes, we have a strong company policy of never using templates, rehashed designs or clip art. All our work are real projects and for real businesses. We therefore guarantee original designs.
How long does the whole process take?
As a rule of thumb we would estimate the whole process takes about 2 - 3 weeks, however this is mainly to do with the time it takes for you to reflect and feedback. We deliver the initial designs within 4 - 5 working days of the first payment confirmation, and then the revisions a further 2 - 3 days. We would however suggest taking at least a couple of days to a week to critique our designs (maybe check with friends and colleagues) before coming back to us. Then with the revisions and sign-off, we would again expect a reasonable amount of time for everything to be complete.
Do you offer any discounts?
Only when you require multiple projects at the same time, please get in contact with us for a tailored quote.
What's the difference between a redraw and a revision?
A redraw is when we completely redraw/redesign and deliver a new set of different concepts. A revision is when we develop a selected design from the initial concepts, based upon your feedback and requirements. It may be best to refer to our case study page for a visual example.
What if I'm not happy with the initial designs of my logo?
In the unlikely event that you're unhappy with the work we have produced for you, we offer two options. Firstly, depending on the package you have purchased, we simply do a complete redraw of the initial stage (creating a new unique set of designs). Secondly, due to the convenient pay structure you can simply walk away (only paying the initial 50%) with no further commitment or administration fees.
Who owns the copyright of my final logo?
You do. Logo Corp creates unique designs for every project (e.g. we do NOT use templates) allowing us to easily assign ownership upon full completion (and payment). We would mention though, in general you only own the final design (please refer to T&Cs for full breakdown) and the deeds for this design will be sent along with the final design. For the purpose of Trade mark application, when supplying finished artwork Logo Corp will also send a black & white or grayscale version of your logo.
Do you keep a copy of my logo?
Yes we do and can forward you (via email) another copy if required. However, we do not make this a guarantee and ask all clients to make regular back-ups of their files.
Sometimes the colours on my logo look different to the screen when I print it out, why is that?
In many cases this may be down to your printer, and possibly its configuration (please refer to its user material). At Logo Corp we design all the logos with a cmyk colour range (printing process range) and therefore this should allow the closest alignment with any printed outputs. As a suggestion, possibly try your local printer for a more accurate or professional copy.
When "unlimited" redraws/revisions apply, does this mean I can endlessly ask for changes?
Yes, but this service is obviously offered within reason and is based upon the client giving a valid explanation at each extending round. After what would be deemed a respectful amount produced, if no agreement can be concluded then we would terminate this option. As a reference, those who believe that they need to keep going as "they'll know it, when they see it", we would not consider this as a valid reason.
Can you apply my logo to business cards and/or other stationery?
Yes, obviously we would have to quote separately for this work, but the essence of Logo Corp is design and therefore easily achievable.
Do you do websites, brochures or any other marketing materials?
Again yes, we may specialise in logo design but our team of designers work along side many other field specialists, simply contact us for examples or details of what else we can help you with.
Is it more expensive if I use more colours?
No, there's no extra charge for more colours. However, we would hasten to add that in general the best logos work with a minimal effect and may benefit from a limited swatch. It's also worth noting that some printers may charge extra for the use of multiple colours.
Are there any hidden charges?
Again no, what you sign up for on the purchase form is what you pay. Of course if you have any queries please refer to the packages page or just simply contact us.
Can you redesign or improve my current logo?
Yes we can, but please make us aware of this in the ordering stages.
Can you do logos that are classed as illustrations?
Yes, but this kind of work can be quite different and will need to be quoted separately (but in alignment with other packages).
Does it matter if I'm not in the UK?
Of course not, the internet now allows a quick and successful method of working (as long as you're comfortable working with the payment terms).
What payment types do you except?
Our payment is dealt through paypal, therefore credit/debit cards.
Aren't some other companies more expensive, why are you so cheap?
With many years of experience in designing logos, we have developed an easy 5 step process to streamline the work and focus on what matters - good, relevant design. This process along with our online set-up and moderate overheads (we don't have any swanky offices) means we can offer our services at such a competitive rate, without compromising any standards or quality.
We are in a hurry, can you design faster/within 24 hours/overnight?
Simply no! We are only human and have the set time scales due to the fact we're designing original artwork. If you do require your logo quicker, then please let us know, as we will endeavor to deliver (as long as there are no compromises) ahead of schedule. Just think though, how serious are you taking your business to make such important decisions so quickly!
How does the payment work?
As explained in the process section, we require half the selected package cost before we start the project. Once confirmed, the work carried out and your logo designed, we then ask you to pay the second half before we send you the finished artwork.
Can I talk to the designers directly?
Yes. Throughout the live project you can contact the specific designer who is working on your logo, directly. All the relevant contact details are provided to you upon start of the project.
